PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
1986 - Present: Member, Carlson, Hammond & Paddock, L.L.C. Representing
various state, municipal, agricultural, development, and individual interests
in all aspects of surface and underground water rights adjudications,
including obtaining water rights, opposing water rights filings of others,
augmentation plans, exchanges, development of water supply and water quality
issues. Attorney for individuals, companies, and municipalities appearing
before administrative and permitting agencies with jurisdiction over ground
water, surface water and water quality. Work closely with organizations
representing Colorado water interests in preparing, monitoring and lobbying
for or against proposed state and federal legislation and agency rules
that affect those interests. Advise clients on a day-to-day basis on the
administration of water rights throughout Colorado.
